Cupcake box from Silhouette :)

I am sure you were waiting with baited breath for my return and here I am! :)

Since my last post, I purchased a Silhouette Cameo and I am in LOVE!!!!  I still have my Circut Expression, but have doing most of my crafting on the Cameo.  My favorite part is being able to purchase what is needed through the Silhouette online store and most items are only 99 cents!  They also give away a free shape each Tuesday.  I knew I was wanted to purchase a Cameo so as soon as I leared about it, so I signed up for the free shapes about 6 months before I got my machine.  Can't wait to share all the new projects in the works.

I have a baby shower to go to this weekend, so what better project to do then the cupcake box with onsies!  I saw this post on pinterest http://club.chicacircle.com/cupcake-onesies-gift-idea/  99% of all my projects and ideas come from Pinterest.  Love it!

I started by downloading a cupcake box file by Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette online store.  One of the things I love most about the items purchased from Silhouette is when you add the item to your cutting mat, it comes out perfectly sized!  No guess work involved.

I completely forgot to take a pic of all the pieces once they were cut out because I was too excited to put it together.  Lori has a great video on YouTube for assembly instructions, so I watched this first before trying to put it together.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeDt8D8OF6E  It looks a little overwhelming once you have all the piece cut out, but with the video it is a piece of cake to put together.

The top of the cupcake box didn't have a hole to see inside so I added one.  I only had vellum on hand, but next time would use something more see-through.  (Anyone have any ideas what I should use?)  You have to put together each side of the box together for the top and bottom, so my adhesive of choice is my ATG tape gun.  Who loves their ATG?  Mine is my baby and I use it for everything.

Here is a completed picture of the box.  Super easy to put together and looks so stinkin' cute!
